Celkon’s new tablet called ‘Celkon CT 888 3G Tab’ has recently gone on sale for Rs.7999/- on SnapDeal. The manufacturer Celkon is yet to announce this tablet officially. This is a 3G tablet, as its name indicates and supports voice calling functionality as well. Some days ago, the manufacturer had launched CT 910 tablet, which also supports 3G and voice calling. However, compared to it, the CT 888 has a high-res display and a better processor. Other features and specifications of the tablet are given below.
The CT 888, like we said, boasts a 7 inch capacitive 5 point multi-touch screen with 1024 x 600 high pixels resolution. It comes with 1.2 GHz processor (probably single core) equipped with 512 MB of RAM. The tablet has 3D Motion Sensor and runs on Android v4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system. As mentioned above, it has a SIM card slot for attaching a SIM card and making call.
It has a 2 Megapixel primary camera at rear and a 0.3 Megapixel VGA secondary camera at front. The camera is capable of recording videos. The tablet comes with 4 GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 32 GB. There are lots of connectivity options including 2G, 3G, WiFi, USB, GPS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, Bluetooth etc. However, it doesn’t have a HDMI port.
The tablet comes with Google Play store on-board letting your download games and apps. The tablet capable is capable of playing numerous audio/video formats. It also has a FM radio. It is powered by a 3500 mAh battery. The dimensions of the tablet are 196 x 116.4 x 9.9 mm while its weight is around 200 grams.
