After launching a super zoom camera in the country called ‘Fujifilm FinePix SL1000’ at Rs.29,999/-, the Fujifilm has yet again come up with two new FinePix X series cameras namely ‘Fujifilm FinePix X100S’ and ‘Fujifilm FinePix X20’. According to Fujifilm, the FinePix X100S, which comes with the world’s fastest AF speed of 0.08 sec, is the successor to the Fujifilm X100 while on the other hand the FinePix X20 is the successor to FinePix X10. The new cameras i.e. Fujifilm FinePix X100S and Fujifilm FinePix X20 are priced at Rs.74999/- and 39999/-, respectively.
While making the cameras available in the country, Mr. Rohit Pandit, EVP, Sales & Marketing, Fujifilm India, says, “I am delighted that X100S and X20 are now available in India to the professional & high end amateur photographers who want to achieve premium quality images with the comfort of a compact camera. Also, from the technology point of view, one of the best features in these cameras is the Hybrid Autofocus (Phase Detection along with Contrast Detection) which helps in achieving the world’s fastest autofocus.”
The all new X100S features a 16.3 MP APS-CX-Trans CMOS II sensor powered by a new EXR Processor II. The camera comes with Electronic and optical Hybrid Viewfinder (EVF + OVF). It gets start within 0.5 sec and like we said, it comes with Intelligent Hybrid AF, which has the world’s fastest AF speed of 0.08 sec. the camera comprises FUJINON 23mm F2 lenses with super intelligent flash.
The camera has burst shooting mode that can shoot up to 6 fps (frames per second) at full resolution. A total of 31 frames can be shot in the burst mode. Also the camera is capable of recording full HD movies at 30 or 60 frames per second.
On the other hand, the X20, the upgraded version of X10, has a 12 MP 2/3 inch X-Trans CMOS II Sensor and it is powered by an enhanced EXR Processor II. Some other features of the camera include 3600 motion panorama, 4x FUJINON barrel zoom lens (manual), Advanced Optical Viewfinder, Film simulation mode, Full HD movie recording at 60 fps, HQ fast F2.0-2.8 lens, Intelligent Hybrid AF (with speed of 0.06 seconds), Pop-up Super Intelligent Flash, Startup within 0.5 sec, Super macro mode and more.
