Nikon Launches 17 New Cameras Including Nikon Coolpix A In India

A month ago, we posted about the announcement of a new point-and-shoot camera called ‘Nikon Coolpix A’ and recently Nikon has made it available in India with 16 more new camera in Coolpix series. So currently, after the addition of the new launches, we have now on the whole 22 Coolpix models in the country. Like the ‘Coolpix A’, all other new launches are the point-and-shoot cameras as well. The all new cameras have been launched in 69 color variants and currently available in stores.

We’ve already given detailed information about the ‘Nikon Coolpix A’. However, just to remind you, it comes equipped with 16.1 MP APS-C CMOS sensor. Moreover, it has an 18.5 mm fixed-focal length non-zooming lens with an f/2.8 greatest aperture value, which helps you take bright images even at lower light surroundings. This capability is indeed a significant one which we used to see in digital SLR cameras. The camera has been priced at Rs.54950/-.

Among the new launches there is also Nikon Coolpix AW110 that is water-resistant at a maximum depth of 18m. This one is totally made for outdoor photo-shoot. In addition to waterproof capability, it is too highly rigid and can survive a fall up to maximum 6.6 feet. Nikon has provided the camera with WiFi, World Map and inbuilt GPS navigation system. It is priced at Rs.16950/-.

Other than these, the new launches also include Coolpix L series. Under this series Nikon has launched a total of 4 new models namely Nikon Coolpix L27, Nikon Coolpix L28, Nikon Coolpix L320 and Nikon Coolpix L820. All these cameras come with a dynamic optical zoom. Also they have been equipped with automatic shooting functions. The prices of these cameras come in between Rs.4990/- to Rs.15450/-.

Under another series called Coolpix P, Nikon has launched two new models of camera i.e. Nikon Coolpix P330 and Nokon Coolpix P520. The model Coolpix P330 has a 12.2 MP 1/1.7 inch BIS CMOS sensor that provides less-graininess. On the other hand the model Coolpix P520 comprises a 42x optical zoom NIKKOR lens, which can shoot super-telephotos. The prices of these cameras vary in between Rs.16950/- and Rs.24950/-.

Last but not the least; the Coolpix S series comprises a total of nine models Coolpix S2700, Coolpix S31, Coolpix S3400, Coolpix S3500, Coolpix S4400, Coolpix S5200, Coolpix S6500, Coolpix S9400 and Coolpix S9500. These cameras come in between Rs.5950/- and Rs.18950/-.
