Salora International Limited has launched its first voice calling tablet called ‘Salora Fontab’ in the country at Rs.6899/-. Last month, the manufacturer had launched Protab and its HD version called Protab HD in the country. The tablet has been listed on the official website of the manufacturer and is expected to be available within a few days via leading retail stores across the country. The tablet would also be available across a number of online retailers. Salora Fontab seems like a value-for-money tablet with some quite decent specs and features.
The tablet features a 7 inch LCD TFT Capacitive multitouch screen with WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixels) standard display resolution. Like we said, the table comes with a SIM slot allowing you to make voice calls. This tablet from Salora runs on Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The tablet has a 1.5 GHz Cortex A9 processor equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM.
At rear, it boasts a 2 Megapixel camera while at front there is a VGA i.e. 0.3 Megapixel camera. Both are capable of recording videos. Out of 4 GB ROM, the user accessible is unknown; however, there is a microSD card for further expansion (up to 32 GB).
