Sony’s upcoming android smart phone specification leak out. This IP58 certified dust and water proof phone named Sony Xperia ZR. The Sony Xperia ZR coming with Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and powerful 1.5 GHz Quad-core processor. The 2GB RAM will improve the phone overall performance. The rear camera is 13MP like samsung galaxy s4 with LED flash and autofocus.

The 4.6 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen offering 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions. The display is protected by scratch resistant glass.  Other features are 8GB internal storage with expandable slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with DLNA, NFC, quad band GSM and 3G connectivity, 2330 mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery. Sony Xperia SP Now Available to Purchase for Rs.25490/- on Infibeam

Finally, Sony has made its flagship smartphone ‘Sony Xperia SP’ available on the popular ecommerce web portal i.e. Infibeam. It was last week, when the smartphone launched in the country and as per expectations it is now available to purchase. The smartphone is also available on Flipkart but only for preordering, according to which the estimated release date for the smartphone is 4th week of this month. However, like we mentioned in the previous post, the smartphone comes with a free premium case worth Rs.1990/-. The actual price of the smartphone is Rs.27490/-, but Infibeam is retailing it just for Rs.25490/-.

The smartphone comes with a single SIM (GSM) card slot and available in Black and White color options. It runs on Jelly Bean i.e. Android v4.1.2 operating system. Having a Bar form factor, the smarthphone features a 4.6 inch TFT HD capacitive Pinch-to-Zoom 10 point multi touchscreen with 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution and 16m colors. The display screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and it is scratch resistant. The display screen comes equipped with BRAVIA Engine 2 and it is highly responsive even if you’re wearing gloves. Other features of the display are One Touch Screen mirroring, Screenshot capturing, Gesture input, OptiContrast panel, auto rotation etc.

For seamless running of apps, games and multimedia, there is a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor that has maximum clock speed of 1.7 GHz and Sony has provided the smartphone with Adreno 320 GPU. A rear camera of 8 Megapixel that comes with LED flash lets you capture 1080p full HD videos. There is also a 0.3 Megapixel VGA camera for video chatting/calling.
