According to a new rumor initiated by the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft might be working on their own smartwatch, an item of electronics that other rumors indicate Apple, Google, Samsung and even LG are all working on.
The rumor about the Microsoft-made wearable tech comes in from “executives at suppliers” who state that the Redmond-based company is working on designs for a watch with a touchscreen, with the same people claiming that Microsoft has asked suppliers earlier this year to ship components for a watch-styled device, and one ‘executive’ claiming that he even already met Microsoft’s R&D team.
Ofcourse Microsoft didnt comment on this rumor but it looks like next year is going to be all about branded smartwatches, eh? Would you buy a Windows Watch or a Surface Watch?
