Google sent out an email earlier this week to inform developers who signed up for the Google Glass Explorer project (and paid the $1500 for it at Google I/O last year) that the units are ready to start shipping.
The devices will be shipping in waves since not all are off from the assembly line just yet, which contradicts earlier rumors that all participants would receive it by the time Google I/O occurs this year.
Still, there will be quite a few people sportin these new shades, so chances are we’ll start seeing them pop-up in public soon.
