Renault Scala sedan launched at a starting price of Rs.6.99K

Renault Scala today launched in India by car maker Renault India in both petrol and diesel versions,priced between Rs.6.99 lakh and 9.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Renault Scala is fifth vehicle launched in India from five products. Before this Renault has already launched Duster, Pulse, Fluence and Koleos. This Sedan is launched in very competitive segment.

Scala is powered by 1.5 litre petrol and Diesel Engines. On Design side its chrome radiator grill with big Renault logo gives premium look.15 inch sporty alloy wheels according to Indian road conditions, Body Color Door Mirrors,Exterior Door Handle with Stylish and Chrome finish, two tone bumper color gives it premium looks.

For Luxury and Comfort Scala is loaded with features like Start/Stop Button to Start engine with push of button. Premium leather is used for interiors for comfort ride. It also features follow me home head lamps that makes sure lights remain turn on for certain time when you left the car from parking. It also has automatic climate control air conditioning. You can adjust your driving place with tilt adjustable power steering. For rear passengers Scala has rear blowers with two-speed regulator. For comfort driving, drivers seat is height adjustable.  Leather wrapped Gear knob and steering with music controls lets you control music during driving. 490 litre of boot space is there in rear for carrying luggage.

Scala is also loaded with latest safety features like Dual Front AirBags,ABS with EBD, Front fog lamps,Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock and Anti Pinch Power Window. Other features include Multi Informational Display, 5.3m turning radius, at front it as McPherson Strut suspension and at rear Torsion Bar. Similarly Scala has disc and drum brakes in front and rear.

More than 80% parts used in Scala are local which helps in competitive price. Renault India will also export Duster to UK in coming months. It has no plan to launch any new product next year. Renault will just improve these five models more next year.
